Easy recipe for Charro Beans
Ingredients
- 24 oz can of pinto beans
- 2 Louisiana sausage links; one hot and other mild
- 1/2 lb of steak- cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup of diced onions
- 3 garlic closes finely chopped
- one bay leaf
- one table spoon of menudo herb mix
- one table spoon of Provence mix herbs
Sauteed the irons, garlic, sausage and meat in saucepan with 2 teaspoons of olive oil
Add into sauce pan the pinto beams and sauce pan ingredients. Let simmer of 40 minutes on low heat. Once cool, refrigerate of 24 hours.
