Charo Beans

Easy recipe for Charro Beans


  • 24 oz can of pinto beans
  • 2 Louisiana sausage links; one hot and other mild
  • 1/2 lb of steak- cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • 3 garlic closes finely chopped
  • one bay leaf
  • one table spoon of menudo herb mix
  • one table spoon of Provence mix herbs

Sauteed the irons, garlic, sausage and meat in saucepan with 2 teaspoons of olive oil

Add into sauce pan the pinto beams and sauce pan ingredients. Let simmer of 40 minutes on low heat. Once cool, refrigerate of 24 hours.
